Stand-Alone Download

Download the pre-compiled version if you just want to look at EpiBrowser or if you don't want to build it.

Prerequites

A Java 2 Runtime Environment (version 1.4.1 or later) is installed on your system
You have access to a EpiSEM ACTION web services

How to run

Download the file EpiBrowser_JAR.zip
Change to the directory where the file is stored, the run the browser by: java -jar epibrowser-full.jar

Sources Download

Download the sources if you want to develop/build EpiBrowser

Prerequites

A J2SE (version 1.4.1 or later) is installed on your system
You have checked out the dev_episem repository (see the EpiSEM ACTION home page)
EpiSEM ACTION client can be built and run (ant-target run-client).

How to run

Download the file EpiBrowser_SOURCES.zip and unzip it.
Edit the file dev_epibrowser/local.build.properties and change the entry for directory where your dev_episem is stored.
Build the EpiSEM ACTION client (ant run-client)

Ant targets

compile	Compiles the browser.
jar-browser	Compiles the browser to `dist/epibrowser.jar`.
jar-browser-full	Compiles the browser to `dist/epibrowser-full.jar` (stand-alone runnable).
run	Compiles, jars and runs the browser
clean	Removes class files and built jar files
